(over)narrated instructions
This is the final piece of the project. I used a painting and asked from my classmates to follow the instructions given. The way I connect them all together is by redefining the meaning each spectator acquires. Signs themselves are nothing more than random lines that we’ve been nurture to recognise but there’s no reason why the specific signs are the ones we read them to be since they have no relation to the physical object or order.
Forbidden from store

It seemed necessary for the businessperson to make clear how hoodies indicate a person that’s up to no good to them. So they built a business were hooded people could not enter, such initiative brought turbulences between the hooded people and the unhooded ones. Hooded people was a minority though a lot of propositions fall on the table about how to treat such unjust, but the unhooded people were running the system and it was dangerous for them to take major actions against them, they protested in peace but nobody heard until the day a hooded person that the whole discrimination was anathema to them walked into that store. The owner screamed the customers panicked the police was there in no time. They arrested the person. The day after was a gloomy day for the whole hooded people community, the unhooded people had attack to hooded people in the street, riots were about to break out the whole thing was about to go out of hand and then it did.
Don’t leave a smaller stick man begging just because you’ve got to follow the floating arrow

We’ve all seen this scene here and there stickmans randomly follow floating arrows leaving behind smaller stickmans begging for them not to. This has to stop ordered one day a very significant stickman. All of the sudden a floating arrow appeared in front of it! The stickman got mesmerised and turned to follow it, stickmans that happened to be in the room started begging the significant stickman not to do it and suddenly he snapped out of it. A photographer that happened to be in the room snapped a picture of the scene and this is what we have to look at today, history.
The croc

There was nothing the automatic stairs hated more than people stepping on them with wet, dirty crocs after their boating. The stairs complained and complained but their manufacturer would do nothing to fix the problem so things went hectic and the stairs begun to monch, squeeze, throw crocs off them and consequently their wearers, the news did not gain a big proportion outside the boaters community, until the shoe became famous. Shopping malls full of people wearing crocs as a fashion statement thrown down the stairs, broken body parts and yet still croc buyers all over the place. They were all clueless why the stairs behaved like that and the manufacturer could not resonate their behaviour either since the context of the shoe had changed. Stairs had no reason to complain about salty wet crocs anymore all he could assume was that they’ve been keeping a grudge on what crocs used to get associated with in the past. Even though she considered it unjust she was no longer able to bear the grotesque scenery shopping malls had turned up to be and decided even many years after the stairs requests to ban crowds from stepping on stairs with crocs. The stairs celebrated their win for months and stopped throwing people down the stairs on purpose.
Sad Onions

Linda was devastated when she heard a a car pull up in front of her house, she didn't need to see it with her eyes to realise who it was. The news were crystal clear to her. The TV had been going on the whole day about how sad onions were forbidden from the time on. Her door was open. She didn’t have the emotional power to fight back the system at the time. All she could do was cry over the bowl of her sad onions waiting for the officer to come in and arrest them. The onions felt helpless. Even the normal onions got sad and risked to get arrested, The decided to go down united. Linda was moved by the way the onions decided to go down. After she lost all of her onions to the law, spending endless days and nights go by laying in her bed crying, crawling to the kitchen, avoiding daylight she picked up her pieces picked up a lighter… and burned down the jail her onions were captivated at. Linda got arrested she had create the saddest onion grill humanity’s seen. This is how and why even though sad onions are still illegal we often find the red circle with the sad onion on lighters.

Don't burn down your ex’s house hun

I’m uncertain why this instruction exists on a visual signifier but it’s honestly a very good opinion. Thank you.
